KSD Facilities Committee April Meetings


silvertrailInterested in learning more about Kuna District facilities? The Kuna Facilities Committee is reviewing the status of the district’s current facilities and working to update the district’s long term facilities plan. The Kuna District Facilities Committee will meet one to two times a month. The initial committee meeting was held in March. The first meeting in April will be held 4:00 pm Thursday, April 9, 2015 at Silver Trail Elementary School Library.

reedThe Kuna Facilities Committee has been meeting twice a month. They are currently reviewing the status of the district’s current facilities and working to update the district’s long term facilities plan. The second meeting in April will be held 4:00 pm Thursday, April 23, 2015 at Reed Elementary. They will meet in the computer lab.

Solution Teams


On March 14, 2017, Kuna voters approved a $40m bond measure to add 4 additional classrooms to Reed & Silver Trail Elementary, Convert Teed Elementary to a Middle School, Renovate Kuna Middle School, Add a new Multi-Purpose Athletic Room to KHS, and build a new 500 student High School with CTE (Career Technical Education) Facilities. We have the following Solution Teams in place to assist us in this transition.

  • 6th Grade Transition Team
  • Design Team
  • Property Acquisition Team
  • Rezoning Team
  • Staffing Team

Facilities Committee Meeting Held

maintenanceThe Kuna School District has established a District Facilities Committee!  The Kuna District Facilities Committee had their first meeting on Thursday, March 19th at Initial point High School. They will continue to meet one to two times a month. Committee information and findings can be found on the district web site under  committeesAll Facility Committee meetings are open to the public and all interested students, parents, and community members are invited to attend!
