2 KHS Staff Earn CapEd Grants

Mrs. Ballard our KHS librarian and Mr. Sarriera our KHS Science and Dual Language teacher recently won Idaho CapEd Grants totaling $1,260.00! According to CAPED it is very unusual for two teachers from the same school to receive a grant in the same month. A big congratulations to them both!

Kindergrow receives CapEd Grant

KinderGrow director, Kacy Proctor is always looking for creative ways to reach all of the kindergarteners in her program. One way she wanted to reach them was through cooking (because who doesn't like to eat?) So, she recently wrote a Cap Ed grant to help with their "cooking adventures in KinderGrow." She was pleasantly surprised to learn that she was awarded the grant of $511.92. Congrats Kacy and the Kindergrow Program!
