Kuna School District Welcomes 4 New Administrators for 2016/2017

kuna

Kuna School District has filled four administrative positions within the school district for the 16/17 school year. We are excited to welcome Anna Lovelady as an administrator at Kuna High School. Kyle Aurdahl and Lisa Dugan will both be joining the Kuna Middle School as administrators and Alex Jensen will be working part time as an administrator at Crimson Point Elementary. You can learn a little bit more about them below in their mini bio's.

ANNA LOVELADY - Born and raised in Melba, Idaho, I never veered too far from home; I have been in the teaching profession since graduating from BSU in 1996. I made the move to Kuna High School in 2008 teaching junior and senior language arts. My husband of 23 years, Patrick, and I also make our home in Kuna with our three daughters. Kuna has been the perfect spot to enjoy a small town atmosphere while still being close to one of my favorite sports - shopping. As part of the Kuna School District, both my family and I have been provided with joy, adventure, and fulfillment. I'm looking forward to pursuing the next phase in my career in education as an administrator at the high school.

KYLE AURDAHL - Hello Kuna Kavemen! My name is Kyle Aurdahl. For the past 10 years I have worked in the Vallivue School District where I taught social studies, served in various committees, supervised summer school, coached 3 different sports, and earned my master's degree in educational leadership. I am a native of the Oregon Coast. I graduated with my undergrad from Brigham Young University-Idaho. I am married to my best friend and we have 5 wonderful children. I am very excited to join the Kuna School District and the Kuna community. I look forward to partnering with you as we work to guide our students in the right direction.

LISA DUGAN - I came to Kuna School District four years ago from Moscow, Idaho. I love the small town feel and vision of the district. I have my Masters in Teaching from Washington State University. I have taught Kindergarten at Silver Trail Elementary. I wanted to move into Administration to have a bigger impact on student growth and achievement, and to support teachers in their professional growth. This May, I graduated from the University of Idaho with my Educational Specialist degree in Educational Leadership. I wanted to stay in the Kuna School district because I like the community of Kuna. Next year, I look forward to working with 8th Grade students and the teachers at Kuna Middle School.

ALEX JENSEN - I recently finished my tenth year in education, six of those years teaching half time High School and halftime Elementary School Physical Education in Kooskia Idaho. The last 4 years of my career have been spent at Kuna High School teaching and coaching Varsity Girls Basketball. The reason I applied and accepted the Dean of Students position at Crimson Point is because I miss being in the elementary setting. Elementary Education is a great place to be, students are excited to be in school and excited to see you. I am so blessed to have such a great opportunity to learn from all of the great teachers and staff at Crimson Point Elementary school.
