Curriculum Change Proposals

Have an idea for a new course or a change in existing curriculum?
If you would like to propose a new course or a change in existing curriculum, complete the Curriculum Proposal Template and submit it to the Subject Area Committee (SAC) for review. Once the form is received, the proposal will be discussed at the next monthly SAC meeting.

DCC Approved New Courses for the 2005-2006 school year:

KHS Senior Language Arts changes: Myths and Legends, Literature of War, Science Fiction and Fantasy, College, Careers and Coming of Age, Dramatic Literature, Creating Writing: Reading as Writers, and Writings of Stephen King and Edgar Allan Poe

DCC Approved New Courses for the 2006-2007 school year:

  • KHS Agriculture Department: Equine Science, approved Nov. 14, 2005
  • KHS Agriculture Department: Forestry and Wildlife Management, approved Nov. 14, 2005
