Course Proposal

Do you have an idea for a new course?

Courses for Credit:

  • If you have an idea for a course, please complete the Course Proposal Form and submit it to Wendy Johnson. All proposals will be reviewed, and the instructor will be contacted.
  • In order to offer graduate credit, all Instructors of record must have a Master's Degree and be approved through the institution offering credit.
  • Courses offering credit must be fifteen (15) contact hours per credit hour.
  • Professional Development course instructors will receive a stipend of $700 per credit hour. Instructor will be responsible for meeting place, time, AV equipment and registering participants for credit. Registration forms will be provided by the district.

Mini Courses:

Mini-Workshops are not offered for credit and are designed to support the district’s curriculum and instructional model. Workshops may vary from 1 to 8 hours in length. If you have an idea for a mini-course, please complete the Mini-Course Form and submit it to Wendy Johnson.
