Q: I don’t have a current Idaho driver’s license, how do I register to vote?

A:  If you don’t have a current Idaho driver’s license, you will need to download, print, and complete the Idaho Voter Registration form and submit it to your county elections office by mail or in person.

Q: I missed the deadline to pre-register, can I still vote?

A: Absolutely! Idaho allows residents to register at the polls on election day. Upon arrival you will be asked to show an approved Voting ID or sign a “Personal Identification Affidavit”. Approved voting IDs are:

  • Idaho State Driver’s license or ID Card
  • Federal Issued ID
  • Idaho Concealed Weapons Permit
  • Current Idaho College or High School ID
  • Tribal Identification Card
