The 2017-18 Master Contract will be posted to the website after the June board meeting. The following is a short summary of the contents of the changes to the Master Contract for certified staff:

    • BA + 24 - BA + 60

    • Provide movement in steps and lanes
      • Contracts will be adjusted once transcripts are turned in
      • Official Transcripts due to HR on or before Oct. 3, 2017
    • Career ladder or 3%, whichever is greater
      • Took 2016-17 salary schedule, provided each cell with a 3% increase and compared to the state’s career ladder
  • Implemented a “Master’s barrier” (BA 48 - BA 60) for new teachers hired in 2017-18 and beyond. Certified staff who enter the profession after July 1, 2017 will not be eligible to enter BA 48 and BA 60 and will have to get a Master’s Degree in order to move forward in the salary schedule. This will not impact current staff.
