Congratulations to the following amazing members of the Kuna School District:

  • KHS Principal Karla Reynolds received the Educator of the Year Award from the Kuna Grange on Saturday, April 24.
  • KHS will host its third annual Senior Art Exhibit April 27 - May 25 in the KHS Performing Arts Auditorium foyer.
  • Come meet the artists during a reception on May 25 from 6:00 – 8:00 pm.
  • KMS history teacher Wally Hames was accepted as one of twenty-five teachers in the nation to participate in the National Education Association’s Civil War Washington Teacher Fellows program this July.
  • Rodger Huckabee, KHS librarian, successfully defended his thesis on April 7 and will be awarded a Master of Arts degree in History.
  • Crimson Point Elementary and Hubbard Elementary students raised over $7,000 during Jump Rope for Heart to help the American Heart Association fight heart disease.
  • KMS band and choir and 6yh grade band students for awards they received during the District III Middle School Solo and Ensemble Festival on Saturday March 6. In total, students received 15 Superiors and 22 Excellent awards.
  • The KHS Jazz Ensemble received a Superior, Division I, rating at the Gene Harris Jazz Festival last Saturday.
