Schools Conduct Emergency Drills

exclamationThe safety and welfare of our students and staff are our highest priority. During the first two weeks of March, Kuna students and staff will participate in school-wide emergency preparedness drills.

The goals of these drills are to improve our ability to protect students, reduce injuries, and evaluate our emergency plans while improving our response skills. The district will be working closely with local authorities to correctly implement these procedures.

In order to protect your child, in the event of an emergency, students will only be released to parents and/or other adults listed in the emergency contact information in the office. Approved emergency contacts should bring proper identification to the school. Please be sure that this information is current and accurate. These procedures are designed for your child’s protection and for your peace of mind.

The exact dates and times of the drills will not be announced. Parents will be notified the day a drill takes place. If you have any questions or need additional information please contact your district office.
