Kindergarten Registration 2015-16

Kindergarten registration for the 2015-16 school year begins March 16, 2015. All new student registrations now take place online. Parents can complete registration online at their convenience at home or in any local school office.

Online Registration Portal

The complete registration packet is available online and is available in both english and spanish. The District works with InfoSnap to ensure that we have a safe and secure way to collect registration data. For more details on the process see this article on Online Enrollment FAQ.  After submitting your registration your school will contact you to confirm your registration and collect the following required documentation (if it was not uploaded during online registration);

  • An original official birth certificate (by Idaho law kindergarten students must be 5 years old by September 1, 2015)
  • Immunization records with proof of required immunizations (5 DTaP, 4 Polio, 2 MMR, 3 Hepatitis B, 2 Varicella, 2 Hepatitis A)
  • Proof of address (utility bill or signed rental agreement)
  • Legal documentation specifiying custody agreements (when appropriate)

Kindergarten Information Night
Parents of all Kindergarten students are invited to attend an Information Night on April 14, 2015. This is an important night where parents can learn about the various kindergarten programs. Kindergarten Information Night will be held at the Kuna High School Performing Arts Center (KPAC) at 6:00pm.

Kindergarten Open House
All elementary schools will be hosting a Kindergarten Open house on April 17, 2015 from 8a-12p. This is an opportunity for parents and new kindergarten students to tour the school and their child’s future classroom before summer.

Kindergarten Screener
Elementary schools will contact kindergarten families in early August to schedule kindergarten screening and to collect any outstanding documentation. Watch your elementary schools website for additional information and sign ups for Kindergarten screening appointments.
