Welcome to Hubbard-Teed Learning Community!
On behalf of all of the staff of Hubbard and Teed Elementary Schools we would like to welcome you to our school. Hubbard is the primary elementary that serves grades kindergarten through third grade. Together with Teed Elementary (4th-6th grades) which sits about 100 feet to our east we are building the Hubbard-Teed Learning Community that will provide a continuous flow in the education process. We strive to get to know every student and close the time gap that it takes each fall for teachers to get to know their students academically and socially.
Our goal is to do what is best for your child at all times. The Hubbard-Teed Learning Community (HTLC) educates students from where they are academically as well as socially when they enter the classroom. We plan academic programs that shall help the child experience success at his/her own level. When a child does not experience the success that we anticipate we provide many interventions to ensure that that student is successful. It is important to us to provide a warm, enriching environment that teaches the whole child through innovative and research based instruction.
We encourage communication between parents, teachers, and students by involvement in the school's programs. We will also be sending out monthly newsletters with tips and ideas for helping your child at home.
At HTLC we take pride in shared leadership. Our staff has been working hard this year to complete our Mission/Vision/Beliefs and Goals. The following is what we strongly believe as a Learning Community:

Office hours are 7:30a.m. to 3:15p.m. Normal school hours are 8:10 a.m. to 2:35 p.m.
Kindergarten sessions are 8:10 a.m. to 10:55 a.m. and 11:55 a.m. to 2:35 p.m.
