SCHOOL HOURS

Our school hours have changed slightly from last year. At Indian Creek Elementary, the bell rings at 8:05 a.m. and school begins at 8:10 a.m. Release time is 2:35 p.m. Ross Elementary’s starting time and release time is five minutes later, at 8:10 a.m. and 2:40 p.m. So when parents are dropping off or picking up students at both schools, it is best to go to Indian Creek first.

LUNCH INFORMATION

A free breakfast is available to all students each morning from 7:45 a.m. to 8:05 a.m. in the Cafeteria. Monday, Wednesday and Friday a hot breakfast will be provided. Lunches for students cost $1.95 and milk is 35 cents. Adult lunches are $3.25. When sending a check, please include the child’s first and last name and the teacher’s name on the check, or place it in an envelope with that information. Cash should always be sent in an envelope with the child’s name and the teacher’s name on the outside. Lunches may also be purchased online. To access these services:

Click on the Food Services link. Click on the MyNutrikids.com link. From this site you will create your account and add money to your child’s school meal account. All you need is your child’s name, student ID number and school ZIP code. The instructions listed on the back of this page will guide you through the easy online account set up process.

If there is a change in how your child will get home at the end of the school day please notify your child’s teacher with a written note or if a last minute change is needed, a phone call to the school office no later than 2:00 p.m. Our telephone number is 922-1009. We will follow the established routine unless we receive notification from a parent/guardian. Please be here to pick up your student by 2:35 p.m.
