Welcome to the Kuna High School Kavemen Wrestling Web Page.
The Kavemen are led by Head Coach Pat Owens. Coach Owens will be assisted by Luke Crockett, Scott Cook, and Chris Lords. The Kavemen wrestlers and coaches have high expectations this year with goals of being district and state champions. The state tournament will be held at the Idaho Center this year, so come and support your Kavemen wrestlers.

Returning state placers include Joey Dondero (3rd) and Gary Blair (5th).
The Kavemen Wrestlers also experienced a very successful off-season! Three wreslters, Casey Cobb, Michael Cook, and Cory Calhoun attended Cadet National Duals in Rochester, MN.
Many Kuna wreslters also competed at Western Regionals in Pocatello, ID. Regional placers include:
Tyler Jaramillo 6th Greco, 4th Folkstyle
Michael Cook 4th Greco, 2nd Freestyle
Kurtis Loftis 5th Freestyle, 3rd Folkstyle
Jordan Nolan 6th Folkstyle
Rafael Nava 6th Folkstyle
Tyler Jaramillo also represented Kuna in the Schoolboy National Duals hosted in Indianapolis, IN.
In late June the KHS wrestlers also had two full teams compete in the Boise State Wrestling Team Camp. This camp consisted of over 35 teams and 575 wrestlers. The Kuna Gold team placed 4th! We had three individuals participate in the all-star dual: Kurtis Loftis and Michael Cook were camp champions, while Joey Dondero was runner-up!
Lastly, in July, nine wrestlers participated in the Idaho National Team training camp prior to traveling to Fargo, ND for the Cadet/Junior Freestyle and Greco National Championships. While in Fargo, Michael Cook became Kuna High School's first ever all-American!
