The Kuna High School Summer School program offers students the opportunity to either:

  • Get back on track for graduation by earning up to 4 credits during the summer of 2009.
  • Take courses to accelerate their learning.

All students who apply for admission to the Kuna Summer School must meet the following criteria:

  • have completed the 8th grade;
  • are not currently serving an expulsion

Each session will allow students to take up to 2 classes, one in the morning and one in the afternoon.

Breakfast Available:

7:40-7:55am

Period 1:

8:00am-11:45am

Lunch

11:45am-12:15pm

Period 2:

12:20pm-4:00pm

 

Food Service

Breakfast and Lunch will be available at summer school through the Kuna School District Food Service department.  Free and reduced lunch regulations will be used in setting fees for both available meals.  Parents and students are encouraged to fill out and return the federal forms associated with this program.  KSD students who previously filled out the form during the previous school district do NOT have to fill out the form again for summer school.

Closed Campus

Kuna High Summer School is a closed campus.  Students are required to remain at KHS from their arrival at KHS until the conclusion of their daily schedule.  Students may NOT leave for lunch or any other time.

Transportation:

The Kuna School District will provide bus transportation before and after summer school each day for students living in the Kuna School District.    Students outside the Kuna School District will be required to provide their own transportation.  Please indicate on the registration form whether your student requires transportation to the Kuna High School Summer School program
