MOVING:

Books may be renewed as many times as needed unless the book has a reserve on it.  Then it may only be renewed three times.  The book must be returned to the library for any renewal.

OVERDUES:

Overdues are not charged on the days the library is closed.  There is a grace period of five days after the book is due before a fine is charged except for reference book with a grace period of one day.  The fine is five cents per day per book.  An overdue fine can equal, but not exceed the cost of the book.

LOST AND DESTROYED MATERIALS:

If a student loses a library book, or other library material, the student must pay the current replacement cost of the book or other library material plus a $3.50 processing fee (which covers ordering a new book paperwork, computer entry & book processing, bar code label and protector, spine label & protector, date due slip, and AR label & protector if needed.)

REFUNDS:

If the student finds the book that was paid for before the end of the school year, a refund will be issued for the amount the book cost.  The processing fee and any overdues will not be refunded.

RESERVES:

A student may place a reserve on any book or library material.  When the book is returned to the library, it will be held for the student who placed the reserve.

Fines:

All Library fines must be paid at least one day prior to a school dance.  No money for fines will be accepted on the day of the dance.  Fines must be paid prior to the end of the school year in order to receive a report card.
