Reed Elementary
Welcome to our website. We hope you find it helpful. The year has gotten off to a great start! We have a wonderful bunch of students to work with. Following you will find what we're working on and upcoming activities.
Please be looking for your student's agenda. They are required to have parents initial their agenda each night.
Math
Students will be leveled according to assessments for math. Check with your student to see who their math teacher is.

Sept. 2-5th Students will be working on place value

Sept. 2-5th Students will be reviewing multiplication facts and what "multiply" really means.
Reading
The week of Sept. 2nd we'll read a true story about an author's grandfather who journeys from Japan to California, and back again. Like his grandfather, the author enjoys living in both Japan and the U.S., and finds it difficult to choose one over the other. We'll be focusing on author's viewpoint.
Idaho History
We are currently studying the Oregon Trail. Did you know the Oregon Trail passed right through our beautiful state of Idaho? We will be having a Rendezvous with Wagon's Ho toward the end of the month. More information will be coming soon!
