Welcome to Fremont H. Teed Elementary!
It is our desire that the school and parents can jointly support each other in the education of your children. As parents, you are the most important people in your child's life. You have more influence over him/her than the school will ever have. Your influence is vital to helping your child to succeed. Your child needs to know that we are working together to encourage responsible behavior and wise choices.
Teed Elementary is excited about all the new changes that have come about in the Kuna School District. We are now serving students in grades four through six grade. Hubbard Elementary, next door to us, will educate students in grades kindergarten through third. Together we are building the Hubbard-Teed Learning Community that will provide a continuous flow in the education process. We will strive to get to know every student and close the time gap that it takes each fall for teachers to get to know their students academically and socially.
Together, the Hubbard - Teed Learning Community accepts students where they are academically as well as socially when they enter the classroom. We will attempt to plan academic programs that shall help the child experience success at his/her own level.
We encourage communication between parents, teachers, and students by involvement in the school's programs. We will also be sending out monthly newsletters with tips and ideas for helping your child at home.
We anticipate many children attending our school this fall. The Kuna School District Leadership team is working together to create a plan to address the large amount of student enrollment we are experiencing at this time. Please understand that we are committed to doing what is best for the students and families of the Kuna School District.
