Happy January

Here in the library we are off to a great start of a wonderful New Year!

We will have many new things to learn from our collection of books.

We are very fortunate to have a nice collection.  It is my hope that with the start of a new year we will also make an effort to explore new books.  You might try to encourage your child to just try something they have never read before.  Also many of our teachers are including specific genres in their required reading. 

We will be making bookmarks this month, which will include tips on how to find specific books.  This will help them with finding the genres they are looking for, as well as just learning how to use the library to its fullest.  It will also help them with remembering which books they have read and tested on.  The bookmark will also have room to record what they have read, and what they would like to read in the future.

I would like to thank you for all the encouragement you give your child to keep on reading!
