Hello and welcome!

 

I just want to tell you a little bit about myself.

I have been a teacher for 12½ years.  It is my 5th year in Kuna as a kindergarten teacher.  This age is my absolute favorite as they teach me everyday what is important about life.  If I ever view anything too seriously, I remember to look at things through their eyes and remember all the basics, friendships and family and time to just play and be myself.

 

I have 3 daughters, Caris, Kendra and Kelci.  This will be my first year to be an empty nester.  It is quite a strange world to be in as I am used to being “mom” all the time and in the know.  I’m proud of all of them, but I miss the day to day events. So, believe me when I tell  you, I know how difficult it is to part with your wonderful child even for a few hours!

 

Kindergarten keeps me vibrant!  My husband’s name is Joe, and he is the greatest man and greatest friend I know.  He supports me in all I do and we have lots of fun!  We look forward to remembering what it’s like to date and travel again.  

 

Currently, I'm part of the Boise State Writing Project and I am part of the technology team, where I manage the writing and reading groups of the web-site.  I LOVE TO WRITE, WRITE, WRITE!   I’m also taking visual arts classes at Boise State as a hobby to keep my mind a little more occupied on something fun.  I will learn some great things to use in the classroom as well!

 

I look forward to an amazing year with all of you.  So far, I feel absolutely lucky to have every one of you for parents!
