Teed Music Room Supply List for 2007-2008

***If you have a child in the 4th AND 5th grade, each child will need their OWN recorder.
4th Grade
1-Black or Dark Brown BAROQUE Recorder- Every Baroque recorder should have a small letter "B" on the back. Recorder packages (recorder, neck strap, zipper case and a book) may be purchased through Teed at a DISCOUNT price. ORDER FORMS WILL BE AVAILABLE AT OPEN HOUSE (September 11th, 2007) AND THE 2nd WEEK OF SCHOOL.
****Please DO NOT go to the area music stores to purchase a recorder. (Music stores charge more for recorders than we do.) Please do NOT bring German, 3 piece, white or "colored" plastic recorders to school.
If you already own a recorder, please write your child's name and classroom teacher's name on a piece of masking tape and place it on the back of the recorder and on the outside of the recorder case! YOU WILL NEED TO HAVE MRS. EDWARDS CHECK OVER THE RECORDER TO MAKE SURE IT IS IN GOOD WORKING CONDITION THE 1ST WEEK OF SCHOOL. Please keep in mind student's will lose some of their daily points when they forget to bring their recorder to music class! Many students ordered 2 recorders last year one for home and one to keep at school.
5th Grade-
1-SOLID RED T-Shirt for the Christmas program in Dec. You may keep the shirt at home but PLEASE make sure to buy a shirt large enough so your child can wear it in December.

6th Grade----------------
-Band and strings will be offered at Teed 3 days a week during the school day. Band and strings will not conflict with the 5th/6th grade percussion group. Percussion group will be before school Tuesday and Thursday 7:30am-8:10am.
