Dear Parents and Students,
Welcome back! I hope you all had a wonderful break! A HUGE Thank You to all parents who helped with our Christmas party! You are wonderful, and I can't thank you enough! Please check out our Home Connect with Accelerated Math. This allows students to work from home, and even score and reprint their own assignments and TOPS reports! Other things to note:
- We will be taking a music field trip to the Boise Philharmonic Orchestra concert on Thursday, January 15th. Permission forms will be sent home on Monday, January 5th, and are due by Monday, January 12th. If you misplace your form, you may click on the Boise Philharmonic Field Trip link at the bottom of the page and you will be able to print off a new form.
- I have included a list of great websites for your children to access from home to help them with their math and language arts practice. Please check them out!
- Coming up: Each student will be creating their own hardbound book this year to be published. I am keeping writing samples for them to use in their book, and am encouraging them to write, write, write!
- Please help your children to remember to read 90 minutes/week, which needs to be recorded in their reading logs that are due the last Friday of each month.
- Our birthday parties are the last Friday of each month as well. If you would like to volunteer to help out, please email me.
