I will be using individualized spelling. Your student will be bringing home a list of words in the form of a word sort. These word sorts or word patterns are geared towards each student needs. This information was gathered from a whole group spelling test. On Mondays they will bring home a copy of their word sorts. We will be sorting and spelling our words everyday. You can have your student show you how they sorted each day. Their sorting will be a progressive plan to recognize patterns and words.
