A little bit about me, what I do, what I believe, and some helpful hints for home:

I am proud to be a special education teacher in the Kuna School District. I love Kuna and more specifically, being a part of the Hubbard Teed Learning Community. Our special education department is a group of talented and dedicated individuals who work collaboratively to provide individualized supports for our students to help them reach their personal goals. We do this by meeting students where they are, developing a plan and doing everything in our power to guide them where they need to be both acadmemically, socially and behaviorally.

We encourage students to be lifelong learners by giving them the skills they need to be able to enjoy the process of learning!

Open communication lines between home and school as essential. Please email me if there are any updates I need to be aware of with your child. I will also be sending home a communication notebook each day for students with whom I teach for the majority of their day here at school. If there are any changes or updates at home please write a note in your child's notebook and leave it in his/her backpack. I check email frequently throughout the day and my staff and I check notebooks daily.
