CURRICULUM RATIONALE
Family and Consumer Sciences Education focus on learning and practicing skills from both academic and professional technical education as it investigates the needs of individuals, families, and communities. Skills such as decision making, problem solving, higher-order thinking, communication, and number and word literacy are used to complete assignments and projects and offer opportunities for students to participate in the student organization FCCLA (Family, Career, and Community Leaders of America).
