We are currently reading Between the Dragon and the Eagle by Mical Schneider.  It is about the ancient silk road that connected China and Europe.  In our adventure there is a bolt of blue silk that starts in China and is passed on from trader to trader and ends up in Rome.

 

The silk has arrived in Petra and we have two more stops to go.
