The Kuna School District Child Nutrition Department provides the foundation of healthy, nutritious meals to support academic achievement and physical well-being.

USDA has extended the Summer Food Service Program

This allows all children 1-18 years to eat free through June 30, 2021. USDA will let us know and at that time, our program will return to National School Lunch Program. Meal cost will be based on your student’s eligibility of Free, Reduced or Paid status. If you have not yet submitted a new application or received an email confirmation letter stating your children are qualified for this year, please go to and submit a new application. If you did submit an application and did not receive confirmation, please check your spam folder or call the child nutrition office @ 208 922-1101 for confirmation.

Every household must submit a new application for free and reduced meals each year. If no application is submitted this will result in your students status changing to paid status, when we resume our National School Lunch Program.
