What is the Migrant Education Program?

Migrant Seal

The Migrant Education Program supports educational programs for migratory children to reduce the impact of academic disruptions from repeated moves so that each child receives the same opportunity to meet academic content standards and can overcome barriers to transition successfully into post-secondary education and employment.  is available to schools and families across the United States.  Its focus is on helping families who work in agriculture—families like yours who know the importance of a good education for your children and realize the impact it can have on your entire family.
