Back to School 2026-27 Information 

The first day of school for the 2026-27 School Year will be Aug. 13, 2026

School Offices Reopen

  • July 20 – Middle and high schools offices reopen 
  • July 27 – Elementary schools offices reopen

Open Houses & Registration

  • Aug. 11 – Elementary Schools 4 to 6 p.m. 
  • Aug. 11 – Middle Schools 5 to 7 p.m. 

Kuna High School Back to School Days

  • New students: July 29 and 30, 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Swan Falls High School.

  • Seniors and juniors: Aug. 6, noon to 6 p.m. at Kuna High School (tentative).

  • Sophomores and freshmen: Aug. 7, noon to 6 p.m. at Kuna High School.

Enrollment & Registration
New to the district? Welcome! Enroll your child online through our Enrollment Portal.
Returning students & famiiles? Please check your Powerschool Parent Portal for the 2025-2026 Back to School form.

Transportation  

Bus information (bus number, bus stop, pick up and drop off times) will be available in PowerSchool in the Transportation tab. More information is posted online at the Transportation Department website.

School Meals

  • Parents can apply for free or reduced priced meals before the start of the school year. More information is posted online at the Nutrition Department website.
