This week, kindness, joy, and connection filled our school as we came together to celebrate Kindness Week! Students and staff took part in thoughtful acts, from writing heartfelt notes to classmates and teachers to helping keep our school clean. Each day, students participated in Kindness Bingo challenges, checking off acts like sharing compliments, lending a helping hand, or expressing gratitude to someone who makes a difference.
We celebrated Valentine’s Day with classroom parties and the tradition of exchanging valentines with classmates. It was wonderful to see the students creativity with Valentine's boxes, as well as seeing students spreading joy and friendship to one another.
This week was also School Resource Officer and Bus Driver Appreciation week! We spread kindness to our bus drivers and to Detective Terisa Howell, our elementary SRO. Thank you to our SRO and to our bus drivers for all they do to keep our students safe. See the photo of Detective T below.
Our students wholeheartedly embraced the spirit of kindness, proving that even the smallest gestures can make a big impact. A huge thank you to our families for supporting this special week—we encourage everyone to continue spreading kindness at home and throughout our community!
Enjoy the three day weekend,
Mrs. Ritter
