As we approach the final stretch of the school year, I want to take a moment to express my heartfelt gratitude for your continued support and partnership. Together, we’ve created a vibrant, caring school community where students thrive.
This week, I’m honored to share some very special recognitions within our school family:
🎉 Laurie Deming has been named our Educator of the Year! Laurie’s commitment to student success, her innovative teaching, and the deep care she shows for each child are truly inspiring.
🎉 Courtney Emry is our Classified Staff of the Year. Courtney brings dedication, warmth, and an incredible work ethic to everything she does—she’s a true cornerstone of our school.
🎉 Sindi Hukill has been selected as our Friend of Education. Sindi’s volunteer efforts and unwavering support of our students and staff make a difference every single day.
Please join me in celebrating these outstanding individuals. We are so thankful for their passion, dedication, and the positive impact they make on our students, families, and staff.
Looking ahead, we’re excited to welcome our incoming kindergarten families to our Kindergarten Open House on May 21. It’s a great opportunity to meet staff and get a feel for the school community.
Please also note that Wednesday, May 22, will be an early release day (students dismissed at 1:30 PM) in honor of Kuna High School's graduation.
Our Kindergarten students will have their graduation on May 28 at 11:45 at the KPAC. Doors will open at 11:30.
🌞 Don’t forget! Our annual Field Day and Family Picnic will take place on the last day of school, Wednesday, May 29th. It’s always a joyful way to end the year, and we hope to see many of you there enjoying the festivities with us.
