Welcome to the 2025-2026 School Year!

We have an exciting school year planned with engaging and dedicated environments focused on fostering safe spaces for growth and learning. We want to see students trying new things and learning from their mistakes. We want them to feel safe and supported while they work hard.

Here are some of the new things we're doing:
  • Student Teams: Your student's teachers for subjects like math, reading, and science will work together in teams. This helps them plan and work together to help your student.
  • Advisory Time: Every day will start with an Advisory period. This is a special class where students will learn important skills. They will work on things like how to get ready for the future and how to study better.
  • WIN Time: We are changing our support time to be called WIN (What I Need). This is a time during the school day when students can get extra help or try a new activity. Teachers will work together to decide what each student needs.
  • Early Release Wednesdays: On Wednesdays, students will get out of school early. This gives teachers time to work together as a team. They will share ideas and plan lessons to help all students succeed.
We are excited about these changes and what they will mean for your student's education. We believe that this will be an incredible year helping all of our students do their best.

A colorful sign reads 'First Day!' on a yellow wall.

First Day of School:

  • The First Day of School is Thursday, August 21st with the bell to get in the building ringing at 7:35 am Students are welcome to eat something in the cafeteria beginning at 7:15. All other students will need to report to the blacktop at the rear school entrance.

School Photo Day:

Wednesday, August 27th (pictures will be taken during school hours)

Photo Day Details:
  • We use a white background during our photography sessions. To ensure the best results, we kindly ask that students avoid wearing white, as it will blend into the background.
  • After Photo Day, we will send a secure link to view and purchase photos to the email addresses and cell phone numbers provided by the school. Parents will also be able to go to our website, www.DirectPhoto.net, where you can view your student’s photos using their Student ID Number.  This is an exciting part of our school community and we look forward to capturing some great moments!

Thank you for your support and assistance in making Photo Day a success!
