From the Principal's Desk:

As we move deeper into November, we have several important dates and fun events to share! Please take a moment to mark your calendars.
Academic Updates
  • Trimester One Ends: The first trimester officially concludes on Friday, November 14th.
  • Report Cards: Trimester One report cards will be sent home with students on Friday, November 21st.
Upcoming Events & Fundraisers
  • 📸 Picture Retake Day: Monday, November 17th, is Picture Retake Day. This is for any students who were absent on the original date or need a retake.
  • 🍿 Popcorn Day: Join us for Popcorn Day on Thursday, November 20th! All proceeds from this event will go directly to support our wonderful Second Grade team.
  • 🍕 Papa Murphy's Fundraiser: Support our school by ordering delicious pizza from Papa Murphy's on Friday, November 21st! This is an online-only fundraiser. Be sure to use the code GIVE30 at checkout for our school to receive credit.
Important Logistics
  • 🧣 Lost and Found Donation: Please check the Lost and Found this week! All unclaimed items will be donated on Friday, November 21st. Please encourage your child to look for any missing coats, hats, or lunchboxes before this date.
No School
  • 🦃 Thanksgiving Break: There will be no school from Monday, November 24th, through Friday, November 28th. We hope you have a wonderful and restful holiday break!

Drop off/Pick up Reminder

Pick Up, Drop Off, and Parking Lot Safety
  • Safety of your child(ren) is our priority. Please pick up and drop off your child in the designated areas.
  • NO drop-off/pick-up in the bus lane.
  • No traffic or parking allowed in the bus lane.
  • Please pull forward as far as you can. Students will use the sidewalks to get to the building/playground at the beginning of the day and again to get to you car at the end of the day.
  • If you plan to walk up to pick up your students, please park in a parking spot in the parking lot and use crosswalks.
  • Drop off may begin no earlier than 8:30 AM.
  • Use designated cross walks to access the parking lot or playgrounds.
  • Be patient, especially as we start the school year and the pick up/drop off routine are new to many families.
  • Call the office by 2:00 PM if there will be a change in the way your child will normally go home so the teacher can be made aware of the change in plans.
